Katherine Buettner

Hi! My name is Katherine Buettner and I am a student at Bradley University who is double-majoring in Communication Studies and Graphic Design slated to graduate in 2029. I have been doing digital art for almost a decade now, and anything artistic has always been a special interest of mine.

When I was thirteen, I saved for months to be able to buy my own iPad and stylus so that I could get into digital art, and since then it has cemented itself into my life as one of the things I am incredibly passionate about.

During my time at Bradley, I have had many opportunities to further my education in ways that expand my horizons, one of which being learning how to create this website! I also had a training course that I had to put together that essentially taught a complete beginner artist how to use the popular drawing app Procreate, as well as creating a demo for the app with certain aspects that I would tweak about the app itself.

When I’m not sketching on my iPad, you can probably find my doodling on my arms and legs with gel pens, but there is an equal chance that I am just hanging out with my family. Whether it’s baking with my two youngest siblings, or going grocery shopping with my mama, I consider myself a very family oriented person and I love getting to spend time with them.

I am currently on the market for a graphic design position, and you can contact me via the contact page above!
